Our Values: What's Most Important

Connecting People to God by Inviting them to Follow Jesus.

  • We believe that Spirit filled Bible teaching is the catalyst for personal and corporate transformation.  (Romans 12:7; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; James 1:23-25)

  • We believe that lost people matter to God, and therefore, should matter to the church.  (Luke 5:30-32; Luke 15; Matthew 18:14)

  • We believe that the church should be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure.  (1 Cor. 9:19-23)

  • We believe that Christians should demonstrate authenticity in their relationships and strive for continual growth. (Ephesians 4:25-32; Hebrews 12:1; Philippians 1:6)

  • We believe that the church should operate as a unified community of servants stewarding their spiritual gifts. (1 Corinthians 12 & 14; Romans 12; Ephesians 4)

  • We believe that life-change and personal growth happens best in small groups. (Luke 6:12-13; Acts 2:44-47)

  • We believe that caring relationships should saturate every expression of church life. This includes serving others and the commitment to building relationships.  (1 Corinthians 13; Nehemiah 3; Luke 10:1; John 13:34-35)

  • We believe that His best deserves our best through systematic and sacrificial giving of our time, talent and treasure. (Malachi 1:8)

  • We believe that excellence in all we do honors God and inspires people. (Colossians 3:17; Malachi 1:6-14; Proverbs 27:17)

  • We believe that the church is only as strong as the families who make it up. We are committed to building a strong, stable family ministry that equips parents, encourages youth, and connects the generations. (Psalms 127)

  • We believe in worship that honors God, teaches biblical truth and emotionally connects with the heart.  (John 4:23-24)

  • We believe that the church should be led by those with the gifts of leadership. We are committed to shared leadership, continual training and the evaluation of gifts and abilities. (Nehemiah 1 & 2; Romans 12:8; Acts 6:2-5)

  • We believe that every Christian is a minister and should serve in a local church.  This includes stewardship, servant-hood and discipleship.  (1 Kings 11:4; Philippians 2:1-11; 2 Corinthians 8:7)
